In our preschool room we run a PreLit program as part of our holistic school readiness program.
This week our preschool children (the ones who will be going to Primary School next year, the Dolphins Group) are learning all about spoken and written words. The lesson focus is on the awareness that words can be spoken as well as written and they are also developing the understanding that words on a page tell us a story or give us information.
