A trip around the world!

Our Preschoolers have been journeying around the world over the past couple of weeks as they have been learning all about different countries and cultures around us.

During their world travels so far they have learnt to count to 10 in Japanese, made pizza in Italy, practiced saying hello in Spanish - "Hola!", counted AND named all the American states and visited some famous landmarks in Europe.

Children are connected with and contribute to their world when they respond to diversity with respect. This is evident when they explore the diversity of culture, heritage, background and tradition and that diversity presents opportunities for choices and new understandings. We promote this learning when we plan experiences and provide resources that broaden children's perspectives and encourage appreciation of diversity. Learning Outcome: 2.2

We encourage regular feedback from all of our parents. It helps us quickly identify and fix any areas that may have room for improvement. It’s always nice to hear when we’ve done well too...
